Key Points of the Project
The large reading room was restored to its original beauty with new furniture and millwork matching the original design of the building. The WBG was asked to provide not only all the furniture but also to provide all the architectural millwork. This was the start of a company evolution with the WBG being able to provide not only the FF&E but also the architectural millwork as one cohesive package. To this day, there are no companies that provide this type of comprehensive solution. As there were no original samples available, so the University provided The WBG with a few photographs. From there, The WBG was able to develop drawings of the requested items, source original material, and fabricate the furniture. In all, The WBG was responsible for the design and construction of custom shelving, tables, chairs, millwork, and storage solutions.
The WBG Difference
For over three decades, The WBG has perfected a procurement system for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) that consistently delivers outstanding results, often under budget. This success is largely due to our long-standing relationships with vendors worldwide, enabling us to secure both standard and custom products at reduced costs. Our extensive experience allows us to foresee and mitigate potential challenges early, ensuring smooth project execution with minimal delays.
How The WBG Makes the Magic Happen
The WBG stands out among FF&E procurement companies due to our commitment to several core principles, all designed to deliver exceptional results on time and within budget.
