The WBG’s Role
The Whalen Berez Group was hired as the interior design firm for New World Prep’s new gymnasium in Staten Island, NY. The charter school’s new building, designed by Rampulla Architects, was in need of a gymnasium expert so of course once they found the WBG our firm was brought on to the job. The WBG’s role was to specify all necessary equipment, bleacher seating, basketball hoops, wall padding, flooring, lighting, paint and finishes, court dividers, even down to the scoreboard and its necessary electrical locations.
