The Space
Established as a premier Jewish educational institution, the Jewish Leadership Academy (JLA) campus was designed as a modern, multi-building environment supporting academic excellence, community gathering, and student life.
Spanning 180,000 square feet, the campus includes academic, administrative, communal, and social spaces—each requiring a cohesive, contemporary design language while supporting highly functional daily use.
The building includes a wide range of academic and shared spaces, all requiring thoughtful planning, durability, and cohesive design to support daily use by students, faculty, and staff.
The Project
Whalen Berez Group was engaged to deliver a full-service interior design and FF&E solution for JLA’s brand-new campus.
The original furniture package was specified at $4,000,000. Through strategic sourcing, custom fabrication, and value engineering, WBG delivered a complete FF&E package for $1.8 million, bringing the project in over $2 million under budget without compromising quality or design intent.
